Gudgeon Specimens

Just looking at the list of specimen/record fish sizes and noticed that Gudgeon are'nt listed anywhere even on the Irish Specimen Fish Commitee's Website Yet I have caught and have seen many good sized specimens caught from canals and Lakes aroud the country, anybody any ideas why they are excluded ??
