does anyone know where i can buy one of these hopefullly in ireland but if not, is it possible to convert a normal dvd rom to play all regions? cheers

I converted mine using a firmware update I nabbed off the web. At the time I just did a search for on google for the name of the player in my pc along with region free and it churned out a few sites.

You can get RPC1 firmware for most drives from www.firmware-flash.com

Make sure you read the instructions or you'll have a paperweight.
