Ghosty Movement

After exporting an AVI from a Premier sequence involving a combination of sped up and slowed down clips the resulting movie's movement had a almost constant slight ghost trail. Is this something to do with Frame Blending? Should I just turn off frame blending except for extreme slow motion?

Try using G-Spot to check your video and audio coders. It could be that you need a ffdshow coder but you have to check your source file first.

I've actually figured out what it was. Something to do with deinterlacing? I turned on processing on the clips and set it to 'Always deinterlace" and turned off "Frame Blending" and that tidied everything up.

Is there a use for that ghosty interlace stuff? What's the story with interlacing? Anyone?
