does anyone know of a solid vcd maker? i started using Sonic "mydvd for cd" but found that its fairly pants and has bog all features as well as liking to crash. its also not pushed burning a vcd if it has more than two little filmies on it. 120megs of twaddle, says i. anyone know of one that can do slideshows, can have background music and not need to have animated menus as a permanent feature? wouldnt mind a little hint in the right direction...

uggghhhh sonic, i take it that came bundled with ur pc,?? it did with mine and ive never got it to work with ne stability, ne way dvdrhelp is ur 1 stop shop for guides links to apps ull need etc, for best results dvd2svcd is by far the best program ive used, and its free, ull need an encoder like cce or tmpgenc aswell, dvdrhelp.com and doom9.org have many guides for useing this software, personally id make svcds if ur player will take them, as the quality is excellent especially if using a 4pass vbr with cce, u can chk on dvdrhelp if ur player will support svcd if ur not sure
