A songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of some repute, Deanna Varagona is best known on these shores as a member the idiosyncratic and brilliant Lambchop. Her most recent release on Gadfly Records, "The Goodbyes Have All Been Taken. Hello", has been described in the All Music Guide as “an austere and emotional collection that often sounds like music that came down from the mountains many years ago”. Ranging from folk to twang, she lays her southern soul bare with a passion born in the Appalachian Mountains but bred in a world of a punk rock youth. She has collaborated with Paul Burch & the WPA Ballclub, been the sidekick siren of Chris Mills, and has been seen sitting in on baritone sax or sweet harmonies with the likes of Yo La Tengo, John Wesley Harding, Neutral Milk Hotel and the Silos. Deanna currently resides in Chicago and has performed to enthusiastic crowds at SXSW, NXNE and has shared bills with Vic Chestnut, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Richard Buckner, The Lonesome Organist and others.

Get A Room is the new project of Michael Stevens, singer and guitarist in acclaimed Dublin alt-folk band Settler. Also featuring Fiachra McCarthy of House of Mexico, Get A Room’s eccentric mix of banjo, keyboards and swirling electronica is a colourful addition to Dublin’s indie scene. The music has been described by local leftfield DJ Neilio Iglesios as “a fabulous and odd mix of alt-country, glitch and electro with some singer-songwriter elements”, and Get A Room has been keeping busy this year entertaining fans of experimental music at local club Lazybird and sharing a stage with songwriter Mumblin’ Deaf Ro. As Settler, Michael has also shared bills with alt country songster Neko Case as well as El Diablo, Paul O’Reilly, Jape, and Boa Morte, among others, has collaborated with Barry Phipps of The Coctails, and has toured in the US and Ireland.

Ian Whitty has been identified by many as a strong new voice in Irish songwriting, having recently released a mini album entitled " Will o' the Wisp " on Whimsical River Records. Described by Paul Dromey of The Evening Echo as “one of the most powerful and arresting Irish Records I've heard this year”, it was co-produced by Ian and indie maverick Steve Fanagan. Last year he completed his first tour of America's east coast and he has, in recent times, shared the stage with The Frames, Damien Rice, Mundy and Josh Ritter.
