Ok heres my problem. Got a second Pace digibox recently which was installed upstairs this is then connected to a tv upstairs and one downstairs. Both have been tuned in fine. The problem is switching channels. which id done through one of those magic eye things. When ever our neighbours change the channel on there digibox it changes the channel on our second box!! This is obviously crazy if the neighbours are flicking around cause my tv keeps changing channel. So if anyone knows how to fix this id really appreciate the help!

    Thanks
    LoGiE

are the neighbours box and your box (or remote eye) in close proximity to each other?

Ive seen this problem on Video Senders too, while the Transmitter Video + Stereo Audio is on selectable 4 channels oin 2.4GHz, they all use the *SAME* 433.085MHz approx UHF for IR remote signal back.

The Sky Eye thing converts the IR signal to RF (at same frequency on all units), so if coax is leaky or IR light bounces through windows you get a problem..

    Re-routing cables or locations.

Replace cheap very open braid TV cable with CT100 or any foil screened cable.

Make sure all braid connections are good to plug cases (or the coax acts like an Aerial).

I have a Philips VHS that in "setup" has a choice of IR two codes to aviod this kind of problem. Why can't everything be as thoughtful?
