Ok, I'm doing this all the wrong way.
I bought a bow, 2 arrows (all there was!) and a target, without any real looking into archery and what i might need.
    I'm just a big kid!
Got them from a local fishing and gun shop in Tallaght.
But there ended up being no instructions and i was missing some minor parts for adding what i think might be the sight.
Still I managed to try them out over the weekend and without any help had a great time. However last night my arrow rest broke, the pits :(
I've just called the shop and they need to order them in and are also waiting on some arrows.
Is there any where in the dublin area where I can pick up the bits and bods?
arrow rests, finger tabs, arrows that sort of thing.
Can you pick these items up in the Archery clubs?

Thanks for any helpfull info as i think i'm going to like Archery, no i Know i like it all ready!
    :D

    3 Arrows Archery Equipment, Dublin

They're based in Drimnagh - no shop but working from a home. You can collect from there.

Just to warn you that BOTH Irish Archery companies are very much more expensive than buying in from the UK. Personally I'd recommend Bowsports or AltServices. They're the best for good prices.

Many things in the Irish shops are twice the price of the UK ones. The price differences would very much scare you.

What's the make of the bow you got?

Local clubs would have spare finger tabs etc which they would probably loan you if you were a member.

Go for the plastic black Hoyt Hunter rest - they take an awful lot of abuse whilst still being a decent rest.

    (plus they cost feck all)

and get a 2/3 of them, and 3/4 of the stickers used to put them on the bow, you'll always need a few spare sticker things, and nothing is worse that breaking you're rest and having to wait days to replace something so minor and cheap.

Thanks every one, and yes I've learned my lesson 2 or 3 rests is a must!!

I had a look in on Greenhills archery club and they sorted me out. A lot of members they also let me know that the string on my bow is too short going back to shop to try and get it replaced. looks like I'll be taken some lessons at this club, nice crowd very helpfull:)

Once again thanks and those links are great by the way!:D
There was no make on my Bow!! but they were sure at the club that It's a Bear Bow, Like the Bear cat TD. they said it was a nice bow, an all rounder type of thing not the best for target archery but not bad either, more of a hunting game type of Bow it came with a sight used in feild archery. So I'm told! also used in bow fishing?!
    Must look into that!
