    Hi

    I want do do some video editing, question regards the source material: the video is slightly damaged thus video flickers, is there a program pref freeware which can solve this and is there a simple to use program which can improve video quality

    Any suggestions appreciated

    Complete Beginner

    there used to be a filter for virtual dub for doing this, cant recall the name, try looking at the doom9.org site or dvdrhelp.com they should know

    Download virtualdubVCR, read part 2 (and 1 if you need to) of the ars technica capturing guide and go to doom9.org whenever you get stuck.
