Midweek Amsterdam

I'm going to be in Amsterdam soon but unfortunately only for 3 or four days in the middle of the week (Monday to Thursday). I know there is loads to do in Amsterdam:D, but in terms of pubs and clubs I'm wondering is there all that much to do midweek in Amsterdam.

If anyone has any suggestions (I know how to find the red light district and the coffee shops, so no need to point them out) it would be greatly appreciated:cool:

Did a search and found this thread. I have the exact same question.

Do clubs open mid week in Amsterdam and if so, what time do they stay open until?

Accommodation is much cheaper mid week so I'm thinking of going then instead of the weekend.

Is the nightlife decent midweek or should I just pay the extra bit and go at the weekend?

    Thanks.

Get yourself in to the area of Rembrandt Square if you want nightlife. Escape nightclub (great spot) is open till 4am and you have other busy clubs like Air just a few mins walk away.

Thanks guys, but are they open late mid week or just til 1a.m or so.

And would it be a mad one if you know what I mean? I like to dance all night :)

Edit: I just checked those two clubs Escape and Air and neither are open mid week. Guess that answers my question!

    Thanks.

Depends what you're into, there's lots of bars open around the center until around 5am.

Not really into clubbing all that much so can't really advise on that front :)

You took the best option, googling the clubs you want to go to :)

If you like dancing, you should check out dance valley for next year :)
