electricity interruption in dublin?

    anyone else have their electricity go for about 10 minutes there?

    pembroke row and donnybrook had it gone anyhow...

    Leeson Street, fitzwilliam st and haddington road affected too.....

    bloody alarms are pissing me off on Fitzwilliam place....mainly offices too, so god knows when they'll be turned off

    And my bloody cable has given up the ghost....

    My desktop had a nice 185 day uptime prior to this, as did most of my non-ups fed servers in here (and only then because of the last electricity outage).. damnit :)

    was afraid this hurt my comp yesterday, just went out for a few seconds down just off leeson street (northbrook road)

    luckily i removed the psu plug, plugged it back in and it started up (thank god)

    was only a couple of seconds (if that) for me though

    what caused it anyway? (and yes the alarms also pìssed me off going off afterward most of the way down the street)

    Ah that'd explain stuff - I'm in Clonskeagh here and loads of the machines had to be rebooted, etc. 'coz of a power cut.
