Thank God!, I've been getting the shakes, it seems so long since MR came out.(Even though it's not!) I need my Discworld fix!

Jeez, I'm way behind. I only just bought Pyramids there at the weekend, only 6 read and a good few to go yet.

Just finished reading it. I quite enjoyed it and it's always nice to see Granny Wetherwax.

Much as I want Terry to keep writing, does the Guy ever take a holiday? Or even put his keyboard away. He realises 2 or 3 books a year, while other writers (*cough* Robert Jordan *cough*) struggle for one every 3 ffs. And yet he still manages to keep them to brilliantly high standards. Should we start a petition to get the guy to take a 1 year break so as we don't lose him early in life due to carpel tunnel syndrome or something?

Why not invite him to sign books at the next boards bash?

Just finished it today. It's very good. Obviously aimed at teenagers rather than the more mature of discworld readers but good nonetheless.

I love the Nac Mac Feegle, hopefully we'll get more of them in later books.

Good to see pratchett back on form, was getting worried about him around Thief of Time but nightwatch and this have restored my faith in him.

Read it and enjoyed it a very good follow up to Free Wee Men.

Some of the Feegles antics had mw laughing out loud.

Just finished reading this (I hate buying hardbacks, and forgot to check the library when it first came out) and I'm trying to decide what I think. It's better than Monstruous Regiment (which I enjoyed first time around, but find very dull upon re-reading), but I can't help feeling that the Feegle are going to go the way of the Librarian - overused for easy gags, leading to people getting tired of them.

On the other hand, Granny Weatherwax's part felt more natural this time - it seemed forced in Wee Free Men, at least to me.

    Anyone else agree?
