What programmes do you have on your computer that you cant do without (be it for work, college or your own hobbies?)

personally, for college I need quark, photoshop and of course word, and in my own time i use Flash (and photoshop too)..
Ive always intended on getting something like pro tools, but Ive never been musical, so i guess theres no point!!

    In college:
    Winamp
    Firefox
    Putty
    Syn
    BlueJ

    At Home:
    The above +
    Openoffice
    EAC
    Burnatonce or Nero 5
    mIRC
    Whisper
    JAJC
    Filezilla
Zoom Player or Media Player Classic
    AVG Antivirus
    The All Seeing Eye
    Forte Agent
    The GIMP

or just a copy of Mandrake 10 or Redhat 9.

    Have 'em all on CD.

Flogen: Can I recommend you replace musicmatch with EAC, it's free and it makes much better MP3s, no skips or annoying/unexpected system mixer records. www.exactaudiocopy.de

cheers for the link civilian, musicmatch just came with my stereo (it has a USB connection), although i soon figured it plays any sound through the speakers (and not just the sound from MM), I never bothered to get anything else (i think i used to use winamp)

    I'll check that out, cheers
