Siberian Larch decking

I've been getting a few quotes for some decking recently. Most guys seem to have a fairly standard pressure-treated spruce deck board to offer.

However, the latest guy had Siberian Larch. It looks like a very solid wood but it is untreated. I realise that it would probably need an annual treatment with a good decking oil but, otherwise, is (untreated) Siberian Larch a good wood for decking?

    Thanks.
