    Looks as though Battlefield 1942 and the Road to Rome expansion pack will be developed for Macintosh by "Aspyr Media". Full DICE press release below:
    Digital Illusions takes Battlefield to Macintosh
    Digital Illusions CE AB (publ) 2004-03-25
    The award winning game Battlefield 1942 and expansion pack Road to Rome will be developed for Macintosh. Texas based Aspyr Media Inc. is developing, publishing and distributing the games under license from Electronic Arts. Digital Illusions gets a pre payment and part of possible royalties for the game.

    - Aspyr has a profitable history of publishing great games on Macintosh, and we hope the success of Battlefield allows us to bring even more games to the platform, said Patrick Söderlund, CEO of Digital Illusions.

    Battlefield 1942 and Road to Rome for Macintosh will be sold together at full price for approximately 50 USD. The launched is planned to the second quarter of 2004.
