Im not sure if this is the best place to post this (maybe college?) but it seems logical since some people who post here wud have sumtin to do with the course.

Neway, on to the point. Whats the course like? Is it very phisically demanding? I know about the swimming and im well able to do over 100m. But i really know nuthing aboot the course. Any help is apretiated.

Haven't heard anything about it but you could try the college's website. They'll have contact information on the page. I'm sure theres a couple of people on these boards who work in the field (pardon the pun), we'll see if they have anything to say.

A friend of mine is doing it and she seems to love it. I don`t think you need to be phenomonoly fit to do the course as your general fitness improves as the course progresses.
One thing I recall off hand is that you can`t devote yourself completly to sea or mountains, you will get good at both.
Anyway I`ll be talking to her tonight and can tell you exactly how difficult it is.

righty, You don't need to that fit at all really. You learn 3 or four disiplins every year, and coming out of the course you could work in most outdoor centres in Ireland, as well as many other countries. And the people there are generally a little crazy, in a good way.
Damit i want to do that course now.
Definitly worth doing if you want to be in the outdoors for a few years.
