James Brown is playing Vicar St June 24th. Tickets are €59.50 and are on sale this Sunday.

He may be over the hill but in an intimate venue like Vicar St i'll be happy to shell out the cash for a chance to see him before he kicks the bucket.

He's defintely worth a look, though 59 quid is a bit steep, saw him about 5 years back and he put on a really good show, but i doubt i'll be splashing out to see it again

Bought my tickets there. 4211.50 for three tickets. Steep as hell but I can gaurantee the value will be priceless. Seeing the Godfather of soul in the Godmother of Venues. Cant wait. How many does Vicar Street hold by the way?

Am off to Glastonbury that weekend (he's playing there as well apparently) but seeing as its such a one-off I got tickets. Some price tho - Papa won't be buying himself a brand new bag for a couple of weeks! And the most annoying thing is this continuing ticketmaster rip-off, 11 Euros per ticket! I thought the govt. were supposed to be looking to sort this out

ordered my tickets this morning, 65 yoyos a pop :(

sure it will be worth it though
