So warez is a term, rather than a thing, right?

    Of course it is.

"no, no, this isn't dodgy software... this... is a crack!"

    While on the subject:

what do the following mean: :
    troll or trolling,
    flaming,
    crack ?

Trolling: Posting of deliberately inflammatory remarks with the intention of inciting a "flame war" ( basically annoying people into having an online fight with you).

Flaming: An unneccessarily abusive tirade often as a result of someone's trolling but just as often directed at newbies for asking questions the flamer knew the answer to ages ago. Or something that is in a FAQ somewhere.

Crack: The bit between the roundy, fleshy bits of your bum. Also a small program designed to circumvent security features on a piece of software, say to allow you play a game when you don't have the original CD, or to get around registering a piece of software.

    Hope that helps.
