Laptop in work has w2k on it and is slow as a donkey, having never used w2k before looking for a program to tweak it.

850mhz 64ram and 10gb HD and its sooooooo slow.
I purged everything on it only OS left on it now but still has 30 processes running in background.

Anyone know a decent working program to make it a little faster.

Get some more RAM for it, is about the best thing I can suggest.

Other than that, try disable as many background services as possible.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

128MB is absolute minimum and even then you won't be able to run many applications at the same time. 256MB is better :)
