Help about AMD 3000+

    I bought an AMD3000+ off board weeks ago,coudn't get chance to test it till today,i bought a New MSI Nforce2 board for it,when i try it on,the screen didn't come out and didn't hear any beep from speakers even i didn't put on the RAM,
    I try another board,it wont work either.
    WHen i try an AMD2500+ on this MOBO,It works fine,

    Do is that means the CPU is not working at all?

    i have the same setup and it works fine, sounds dodgy, have you tried the cpu on another mobo by any chance to test it ?
