Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gas BBQ tips

Hi All, just got back from Brazil on my holidays, an dI'm in a BBQ phase!

I went out and bought a new gas BBQ last weekend (so I can easily try to reproduce the lovely chargrilled beef I had in Brazil), but I'm used to a charcoal BBQ setup.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for a gas bbq compared to a charcoal one?

    Cheers.

Buy a bag of wood chips in your local Woodies. You soak a few of them in water for about 30 minutes and then put them on a metal tray at the side of the coals to get a more authentic smoky taste. Without them you might as well just use the grill in the kitchen.
