Right, time to try and get a steady game going.

So, to this end, could people reply to this thread with the following details:

1. What day would you prefer for a campaign game? (list three in order of preference)
2. What time would suit best (start -- end , keeping in mind the normal game usually runs at least 2 hours, more after organising the start).
3. What expansions do you have for NWN? (SoU , HotU) - this is so we can choose suitable scenarios for everyone to be able to play.
4. What is your connection speed (will help decide whether scenarios with hak packs are an option).

to kick things off:

1. Monday , Wednesday , Tuesday
2. 8pm to 11:30pm suits me best
3. SoU and HotU
4. DSL so hak paks are not a problem.

1) any weekday Monday to Thursday
2) the later the better (as long as im in bed by 3ish),
preferably not starting until 9pm, but could make it by 7:30pm or 8pm
if I start work early that day especially.
3) SoU but will probably be buying HoU in the next few weeks.
4) not sure yet - just getting set up with an ISP but DSL
is not available in my area. Debating whether its worth my
while to fork out €120 for ISDN, otherwise just a 56k slowdem.

Either way, Hak packs not a problem as Ive a fast connection at work and a large pile of writeable CDs.

Hak pak are downloaded in advance and stored in teh HAK directory in the NWN folder. They are used by module writers to make changes to the rules , models, etc in the game.

I would always try to give download details as early as possible in the week so everyone has a chance to download them in time.

Have a bit more free time now so I should be able to play at least a bit. Eve has been addictive the last while (and UT2004 is getting nearer and nearer to being installed)

So, this 5 looks like enough for one group. leaves space for another one or two if they show up.

Mondays
8:30 .. to start the game at 9 sharp running until 11 or 11:30. Depending on who can stay etc.

We can start with a scenario using resources up to SoU (when everyone has HotU we can start on those ones ).

Hak paks are ok as long as there is plenty of notice.

Whats the story with group creation? If four or five rogues turn up could
that be a problem?

I just ordered an IOL account so should be online "within 5 working days".

wont be avaiable to play for another 2 weeks as moving all my stuff from cork to dublin is a pain (that and i dont actually have a house in dublin yet) but im deffinatly on for regular gaming sessions of NWN whenever and where ever you guys are playing will give you an update once im back in the big smoke

A][en , whenever you want to drop in is fine. If we can get one or two more we can make two groups. (so go and get recruiting ).

3. Expansions: Have SoU, not HotU but can get if needed.
4. on IOLBB so pretty good. ping 50-100 or so on quake etc.
