    This new model is not official until it gets posted on the pre-order page. However, after seeing all the confusion and trouble it is very likely that we're going to switch to the model described above.

    I am not going to discuss this new model since I am not here to negotiate a price, but to find an easy and attractive solution which makes sense for the vast majority.

    We will also set up a "classic" Neocron server, where people can play NC with their old, i.e. not upgraded accounts. Thus nobody is forced to upgrade.

    When discussing this new model among the community, please keep in mind that this upgrade system is still way more attractive than what most of the competition offers. A pointed out before, a de facto price of 10 Euro per account to upgrade appears to be acceptable to me, bearing in mind that we've worked on DoY for over a year.
