god this is depressing....any how..

i am looking to start a band

i play bass and sing

i am looking for a guitar player

i am looking for a drummer

i am in south dublin

i dont really care what kind of band it is: rock,punk,power pop,ska, pop rock, grunge ANYTHING (xcept metal)

i just want to get together and make good music - any influences at all.



seriously now...i really want to get a band together so you'll have to be committed. i want to start in ernest this sommer.

yes but i dont think it work out cause in his list of influences we only had one band in common he is more old skool rock than me and i've done that scene and it didnt really sit with me too good.

tell us ur influences then! I'm into Counting Crows, Jesse Malin, Red Hot Chillis, U2, MAroon 5, Stereophonics, Coldplay etc. I would be interested.

it's impossible to form a band and find someone with exactly the same influences...
moreover, if you have different tastes this can stimulate the song writing
