Boot Problem

    Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this is the right forum but.............A while ago I installed Red Hat Linux on my machine that was runnning XP Pro and set the system to dual boot using Grub as a bootloader. Fine and dandy until I decided last night that I needed the space used by Linux back in Windows, so using Partition Manager I deleted the linux partitions on my hard drive and resized the windows paritition to maximum. I assumed this would also remove Grub as I thought it would have been in one of the Linux partitions. Unfortunately not as the computer still goes into Grub on startup which then drops me to a Bash prompt and refuses to boot until I load the kernel which was deleted.
Using the windows XP setup cd I managed to get to a recovery console but the bootcfg command can't seem to find any other installs and even using commands to set the XP install as first boot and to diasble redirect I can still only boot to the Grub bootloader.
I even tried to re-install Red Hat but since my re-sizing there's no free space on any of the partitions and I really don't want to delete any of the partitions. So is there a way using the Bash prompt to disable Grub or boot to Windows?

Just get your WinXP cdrom. Boot off it to the recovery console. Type FIXMBR and XP will rewrite the Master Boot Record removing Grub and returning it to booting XP directly.
