SW: Galaxies & Nvidia 56.64 driver problems

    If anyone with an Nvidia card has updated their drivers to the lastest (56.64) and has subsequently found that they are getting frame rates in the region of 1fps in SWG - here's the fix.

    Ok, that did not even come close to working for me, but it has for some. Here is a thread from SOE. They now claim it has been fixed, but I see no difference. Changing pixel shaders from 2.0 to 1.4 works, but it takes you back 3 years in graphics.

    ...this is why I never update drivers when they first come out.. been through too many problems like this.

    My advice is to wait a few weeks before updating. Half the time it's not even worth updating them altogether.

    Anyways, I know it's kinda hard once you've updated, just thought I'd tell you how I do it: )

    can anyone recommend some good support sites to find out tips and hints in relation to this game.:D
