I just saw this item on ebay ... claiming it is a legal way to watch sky around the house without more subscriptions. I wouldnt buy anything like this in a fit but I am wondering if anyone here knows what it is he's selling?. Its probably instructions on how to set up a Video sender or something daft like that ... or just how to change the lnb to a dual or quad and then buy a second hand digibox and use a FTV (or no) card .....

Its probably instructions on setting up and using a satellite eye. This needs a cable from the second RF output on your digibox, ran to the sat eye and from the eye to the TV (in the bedroom). You can then legally watch Sky in your second room and through the eye control your digibox. Note. He says you must have an existing sky subscription. I'm not sure if you can still watch Sky in both rooms at the same time, my guess is you can't, but correct me if l'm wrong.

You can watch Sky in both rooms at the same time but you must watch the same channel. You do not even need the magic eye unless you want to use the remote. You can simply connect RF2 output on the back of the box to the second TV and you can watch Sky on the second TV.

I can't view the ebay item as it is blocked at work by websence. However if it is a magic eye just be aware if you have a split in the coax from the decoder to the TV (if it goes through a distribution box) the eye will not work. You can get a remote sender from Argos for 44 yoyo which will work (I have one - it's excellent).

I'd say its simply instructions on how to cable a second Tv. No big secret about that! Sounds like a rip off
