I was wondering if anyone could answer this simple question? I have an AGP slot on my computer that supports 1.5V 4X AGP cards. Does this mean that I can only use 4X AGP cards in this expansion slot, or can I use 8X AGP cards too? Any info would be a great help as im in the process of upgrading my grapics card.ww)

You can use 8x AGP cards too, although you won't get the same performance out of the card, but in my experience the difference in performance is extremely small between 8x and 4x slots.

The 8x card will work but the AGP port will be at 4x so the 8x card will only transfer data at 4x
