Loss of TV/Radio signals Sunday morning March 21st

Switched on the TV Sunday around 9:30AM RTE1, NET2, TV3 & TG4 all gone. Tried the radio, similar story on FM; RTE1, 2FM, Lyric & Today FM gone. I get the TV & radio from Maghera in Clare, get UHF TV from somewhere in Longford (I think). What surprised me was the lack of information, nothing said about it when the signals…

Does anybody know what the problem was?
Was it caused by the high winds?
