    ITV, Ch4 and Five.

That is the ONLY extra channels a FTV card gives.

For FTA maximum channels consult www.lyngsat.com

Or reboot (mains plug in ou) with card upside down and > arrow through all the channels after typing 101 and ignoring error messages.

    About 22 BBC inc Radio
    About 60 Radio total
    About 30 shopping channels

Performance, Chart Hits, Channel U, Vault, POP, POP Plus

Some other minority interest channels (about 6)

Reality, Extreme Sports, Rapture, Game, "Friendly"

Sky news, News24, CNN, Euronews, ITV News

    A half dozen Religious TV

    Some Asian type channels

    Community, Jobs, Chat, Date
    Travel Channel.

There used to be TCM and Boomerang, but they are now PayTV.

Free To Air (FTA) means just that, Free. You don't even need a Digibox. You don't need any card.

Free To View (FTV) means no subscription, but encrypted so a card needed. UK FTV scheme has collapsed, but existing FTV cards and cancelled UK Subscriptions (on newer cards) still work for ITV, C4 and Five.

Other countries such as Nordic, Netherlands (Dutch), Swiss etc have FTV schemes of sorts (these cards won't work in a Digibox), usually with initial fee and reasonable annual fee. The Swiss scheme is unique in catering for nationals abroad.

TV5, DW TV, TVEi, Al Jazzera, CNBC and Bloomberg are free to Air on other satellites, but not Sky.

German (similar) versions of MTV, MTV2 and Eurosport are FTA on other Satellites, but not Sky.

BBC World TV is similar but slightly better for non-UK folks, but not on Sky. FTA nearly everywhere else.

In Ireland you can receive Free To Air channels from over 30 satellites with approx EUR 300 worth of satellite gear!

Also pay packages are available from some Continental providers (A digital receiver, not Digibox with CI and CAM needed) quite openly and legally. Some providers you need a suitable address to get the legitimate offical card.
