Peter, assuming he doesn't have broadband...does he have flat rate internet cause that lot'll take about a day to download! Expensive on pay per minute.. I saw a (full product) program that'll do what he wanst on the cover disc of PC Pro mag today. I'll be buying it myself tomorrow cause I....ahem have a few mpegs to put on vcd/cdr to play on the dvd player......it does jpeg slideshows on vcd/cdr too.....ahem, wink wink...say...no more....:D:D:D

My player plays regular mpeg files just written to a cdr without any of that fannying about with VCDs. It's a regular Philips (nothing too expensive) so it might be worth checking whether yours does too. Most of the players that have a jpeg playback facility will have this thrown in as well, though it may not be documented.

The regular NeroROM download is under 25 megs. Shouldn't take more than about an hour and 20 minutes on a good 56k connection.
