RTE's documentary on Mary McAleese was on RTE during the week and I would vote for it being the TV programme of the week. Very well put together, great insight, pacy, revealing. RTE's documentary on Mary McAleese was on RTE during the week and I would vote for it being the TV programme of the week. Very well put together, great insight, pacy, revealing.

Very proud to have a president like McAleese, she really is a great ambassador and didn't realise how much of a role her husband has also. He played a big part in getting the communities talking in Drumcree which resulted in the march this year going off peacefully.

All credit to the RTE team that put it together.
