I'd be happy to pay £8 a month foir it. Do you think they'd sell to
    a subscriber in ROI ?

    Do you currently have freeview?

I think that you have to have an old ITV Digital (On Digital) set top box as the standard freeview ones do not have a slot for the necessary card.

yes I have Freeview (in Wexford).

The new boxes with slots are on sale.

The new service carries Bloomberg which would be good if I could subscribe

    Pal,
Was wondering what kind of reception you get in Wexford for freeview !?
I bought a set-top box last week and am now getting it, i live just over the border (Monaghan). I dont seem to be able to pick up sky news or sky sports news at all ! All the BBC channels are perfect but the ITV\Channel 4 ones are only watchable some nights !?

In that case you shouldn't have any technical difficulies in receiving the service. I would imagine that TUTV will be happy to take your money.

Bloomberg will never be good - even if you subscribe :D.

It used to be, but was dropped at the start of October 2003. Only the German service is still there now. Even before that it wasn't on full time, sharing with SFB1 near the end.

There is a high degree of sceptism about "Top up TV" in UK.

It is hard to see what they can offer on such a small scale.

    Delboy,

The reception in Wexford is perfect because my aerial has a clear line
    of sight to Wales.

We get HTV and S4C2 and the like because it's Welsh freeview.

The Welsh list is slightly different to the NI one.
