Did anyone else think that last nights 'Finale' was totally not worth waiting 4???

Lets just hope that Friends do a better job!!!!!!

I agree, it was all too nicely sown up in the end. Completly contradicted what the series was all about

Yeah i ahve to admit i was pretty disappointed, although i had heard what the endings were, it didn't impress me.

it'll never beat 'the office' ending.

I only watched it for the clothes anyway... but yes closure of story sucked.

I am not a regular viewer of the show but Samanta was the best character out of the 4.

Saw the ending - The moral of the story "Stay out of Paris!".

To be honest, I didn't like the show in general but the last one was RUBBISH!

It was a load of fairytale shíte! "Oh no - who would have thought I'd get culture shock in a new country!" "I've been going out with this Russian guy for ages but I've failed to see what kind of person he is because I spend the whole time simpering when he compliments me!" "Oh phew, here comes my knight in shining armour (Mr. Big) to rescue me before I have a mental breakdown - how lucky" "Fairy princess dresses really look good on 30 somethings, don't they!"

Did anyone think the bit where Carrie tripped Big over and they both started to laugh was very unconvincing in terms of acting? I thought it was awful.

Plus, Big going on about beating up that "foreigner" - yes, he used that word even though he was abroad himself and it made him sound like some jingoistic member of the US Republican party - what an atrocious piece of scriptwriting!

I know it's hard to finish off a show in an episode but that particular attempt was truly dire!

I'd have to say, this last run of episodes with the Russian was pretty damn boring. There were few funny moments, except the episode with the dog show & the "teeny tiny tampon". That ep had a good few laughs.

The finale was exactly what you'd expect, Charlotte got her baby, Carrie got (John)Big, Samantha settled down, and Miranda....well she was married already with a kid, so who cares right?
There was nothing outstanding or particularly interesting going on with any of the plots, and where were the jokes?! It was all so 'blah'.

I'd have to say it was a pretty damp squib of a finale. :ninja:
