Im looking for a decent quality turntable, but nothing overly expensive or fancy (none of that DJ malarky!)... just something to play my records on.

Im sure most modern ones have audio output so i can hook it up as aux on my regular stereo

What shops in Dublin are good for turntables (and that wont bullsh1t me, because I dont know alot and could be mislead easily on this)

    thanks

Really the best place for turntables is Cloney Audio in Blackrock. Try to avoid the mainstream brands like Sony, Goodmans etc. Their turntables tend to crap.

The one I would recommend is by Project. Their entry level one used to be about €169 and it was only delightful, so it was!!

Not sure about the phono stage though, you still might have to buy a seperate phono stage for it, but the lads in Cloney will tell you straight away.

Whatever TT you decide on be sure to audition a few different pick-ups till you find one you like - they're not all created equally ;)
