PCI Express Systems

I just checked with Alienware to see when they would be shipping PCI-Express based configurations (considering they are always bleeding edge suppliers) and they reckon early summer for first shipments to Ireland.

Anyone else hearing when PCI Express will hit? I'm due an upgrade, have been considering my options but if the new configs are close, I'll probably wait for them to hit.

aye BTX (which will have pci express) and socket 939 (which should have pci express unless amd want to fall behind intell) will be out soon .......and if alienware says summer might as well wait the few months till upgradeing

Will the BTX form factor be compatible with ATX type cases? I'm thinking about building this summer, but i want to start buying some of the stuff soon, spreading out the costs. Im thinking about waiting untill the new PCI Express and BTX, but ill only have a budget of like €900 (excluding monitor). Do you think id be better off sticking with ATX rather then going for some bottom of range BTX during the summer for the same price?

BTX is an intel solution, and I doubt anyone else will bother licensing it.
    Also, it's pants.
The graphcs card still isn't aligned correctly for optimal thermal performance.
