What other war would you like to see the Battlefield series cover?

Personally id love to see the Korean War or how about a game just based in the Pacific Theatre of ww2?

Or something that would probably never be created but an Irish Civil war map like in Dublin where anti Agreement or Pro Agreement have to capture different points on the map of Dublin.

Oficially next will be a modern day baised warfare game. They have already signed an agreement with Trauma Studios [DC Team] to produce this. It will also be released on the XBOX, a large chance of it being a XBOX Live enabled game.

As of yet EA have yet to produce and XBox Live games due to wanting a chunk of profits from Microsoft but there is chances of an agreement being made or been made.

if they do produce it for the xbox aswell its going to make it not as good for the pc then and that would suck. theres enough games that are ruined cuz they are held back cuz of them being on a console aswell

Well that would be funny if XBOX and PC gamers plaeyd on the same server - the idea of mouse/keyboard players versus controller players doesn't sound fair.
    :D

It's pretty obvious it's going to be "official" desert combat; just wonder if Trauma get round to the holy grail of DC - other sides!

"Digital Illusions signed a cooperation agreement with the games developer Trauma Studios Inc in February 2004. Trauma will work as the Company's subcontractor regarding a forthcoming product that Digital Illusions has already announced, but that is still untitled. Trauma Studios lies behind the popular "game mod" to Battlefield 1942 – Desert Combat. A "game mod" is a kind of modification to an already existing game. "

Seems like DesertCombat may be made into a working game, complete with missions, etc. See Counter-Strike; Condition Zero for more info on mod-to-game release ;)

I'd like to see the Korean War used as a backdrop.

And maybe a futuristic warfare, set in 2010-20.

Or a classical Naval-era battle, say Trafalgar or waterloo.

Id like to see them implement the Battles of Connemara.

Duelling banjos and drunks beating each other up over ones cousins would be right seller.
