Wireless Home Network

I have two desktops and two laptops current connected via a 10 Mbps hub. I would like to upgrade to 100 Mbps and to wireless for the Laptops, at a reasonable cost of course.
i also connect to the internet via a 56K external modem. Broadband may be an option later this year.

Can anyone recommend what I should purchase?

I was considering a 4 port switch with 802.11g Wireless access point and 2 PCI cards, and to use ICS to share the internet with everyone.

Will this work if I get BB connected to one of the desktops in the future?
What are the best manufactures to buy?

why use a hub at all if you are only goign to use wireless??
If you are going to get DSL then get a router which has built in wireless and then all you need is a wireless card for each laptop.
Eircom have this on offer and Esat can get it for you if you request it specifically, the model for esat is a ZyXEL Prestige 652hw which is a Router/Firewall(packet filter)/4 port Switch and wireless access point all in one unit and circa 300 quid.
Its a really good all in one box.
Oh and it supports VPN (mobile user and branch office)

I've used a 3com Access point to connect three desktops (one connected directly to the ap) and three laptops together. 3com were doing a deal for an 11g access point and pcmcia card for €120 +vat. Which was nice.

The only problem I have had with it is one of the desktops drops the connection randomly depending on the location of the laptops.
