i signed up to a website, then logged on and accidently told comp to remember my password, how do i get it to forget?

What browser are you using?

I presume you're using IE.
If you are, then go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Content --> AutoComplete
You can clear passwords here.
Bear in mind though that you'll be clearing all saved passwords.

You might want to wait and see if anyone knows how to remove individual passwords.

I dont think you can remove individual passwords with IE but if your using firefox you can.
If your using firefox go to tools > privacy > saved passwords and you can delete each individual saved password from there

if you're using firebird/fox;

tools/options/privacy
expand the 'saved passwords' dialog & click 'view saved passwords'
you can remove saved passwords here.
