That's quite a lot of milage and I presume one hell of a commute to work.

I worked for a guy years ago who was simulaaneously managing three geographically spread sites of the company on a temporary basis while new management staff were taking over. His normal commute would have been ~350 miles per week but when the extra travel was added in he was averaging over 1000 miles per week for a month (work travel only). Scary milage when you have to do a long working week too but at least it was his company car that was being wrecked.

Even allowing for good roads and some legal indescressions he'd still have been spending 15 - 20 hours a week in the car minimum. He'd be having a telephone meeting with me or other staff while stuck in traffic on the way to or from a site.
