Name of this Transformer?

Hey there, I had a transformer a few years ago I'm trying to figure out the name of. So I'll describe him (were there EVER any female transformeres?) as best as I remember he was a bad guy, his colour scheme indicated this for a start, he was mostly black with purple and green afair.

His main transformation was a big base. He had 2 main parts. His biggest section was his torso, head and legs which transformed into the main part of the base, he also had 2 legs which each transformed into tanks, I think, and also side parts to the base, that you connected to the main base part via little green bridges. I think his torso also transformed into a plane, not sure though. There was also 2 little tiny transformers that came with it that transformed into cars or something that you could drive round the base or insert into differant parts of the main body.

    Any idea's?

Sounds like Devastator - he was the giant robot that the five Constructicons joined up to form - Devastator .

Nope, not him. He was mostly black, with some purple, and a tiny bit of green.

That's Metroplex (not Devastator), which was an transforming Autobot city. He was not Autobot City however.

The only female transformer I can think of was Arcee who was in the movie. I think there may have been a few more back in the Vector Sigma days though...

Wrong again, sorry. Though, my friend did have this one if I remember.

Well then it has to be Trypticon who had many a battle with Metroplex...

It looks more like the one I had, but no, that's not him either, sorry to disappoint. I may go back to my parents and root through their attic to see if I can find it again. If I do, i'll take pics, and post 'em up, though I won't be down in Dungarvan again for a few days so.....ye'll have to wait for that.

Keep the guesses coming though. The colour scheme for Trypticon is closer, but he doesn't transform into a dinosaur, and he doesn't look like that in city mode.

    What year was it from?

Omega Supreme was grey and red, but sounds similar to what you described.

Scorponock or Fortress Maximus were headmaster bases I think, scorponock was purple and green.

Oh and there was a female transformer

Two technically. One of the seacons Scylla (I think) was made female (after being initially male) and then Arcee.

No idea what year it was from, sorry. Yea, I've seen pics of the 2 you talked about, and there not it either. Still looking through a few pages though hoping to track it down.

I seem to remember that there were bases for the little mini-transformers.

There were squads of these mini guys... the decepticons had planes, they were only about an inch long, they were obviously trying to cash in on the Micro Machines success...

I'll have a look in one of my old annuals latter and see if one of thier bases meets the description.
