Fabulous to look at, like being treated to a whole series of beautiful Dutch interiors for 90 minutes. Not much plot (basically the burden of its song is Men R Bastards) but it's so yummy visually that who cares!

Seriously - it's got great art directing! Fabulously authentic attention to historical detail and Scarlett turns in a finely subdued performance. Sure it's lacking in plot.... but really it's very very pretty...

I agree, the film was visually stunning and i really enjoyed it, the interiors and the colours and all were beautiful but it was rather lacking in dialogue / plotline.
