don't think there is one but if you go to a manufacturers sit (eg bossus.com) u could browse the effects on offer and see if they sound like what you are lookin for....Whats the songs your lookin at anyways???????

It's usually handy enough to figure out what's being used. Like jcoote said, what songs are ya listening to and I'll try and figure it out.

Mmm, metallica and guitars, 2 things I know about :)

To get metallica distortion, obviously a nice tube amp and a set of emgs are ideal but to get an approximate sound, put bass and treble about 7 or 8 and mids at about 5. Metallica's tone is dipped mids, not scooped. As for the clean, a bit of chorus and reverb is good along with a light compression.
