lost prophets are a decent band with a decent following of non kiddie fans, slipknot on the other hand are a complete kids band, would pay extra for a ticket if they were kicked off the line up and replaced with lost prophets!

Lost prophets suck sooooo BAD, and they are shocking live.

    Bring on the Knot!!!!!!!!!:D

A Perfect Circle are rumoured to be playing.. But rumours eh...

If A Perfect Circle were announced, it would be another Chili's/Pixies thing, where the support band is almost as good, if not better, than the headliners.

But that would be brilliant, APC and Metallica, although I seriously doubt it would happen.

Why wouldn't it? It's a rumour anyway so no getting all excited...

They're taking their time in getting bands to confirm a support slot at the gig..

They seem to be pretty slow announcing all the gigs this year actuall or is it just me

    heard that rumour too...
but i seriously doubt it will happen... a perfect cirlce have already played europe this year.

I wasn't going to go to Metallica this time, as I've seen them a few times before.

However, if Slipknot are supporting, I think it'll be great. Slipknot are good, and I'd like to see them once atleast.

Ofcourse, Metallica is one of the best livebands ever, so you know you can never go wrong when seeing Metallica.

A Perfect Circle will not be supporting Metallica because by that time Josh Freese will be drumming with The Vandals on the Warped Tour. It is still possible that A Perfect Circle will play this year's Carling Weekend, so the best you can hope for is a slot at Reading Ireland.

Also, Metallica and A Perfect Circle? That's undoubtebly unlikely anyway.

An ad for the gig in the paper listed Lost Prophets (or should I say 'profits', oh ho ho, ah c'mon I'm kidding) on the line up, along with "Special Guests", so there's more to come it seems.
I saw the lost prophets at Ozzfest. They weren't hopeless, but not that impressive either.

I saw some posters up near the Jervis centre and Slipknot had disappeared off them.

I thought Josh Freese only toured with the Vandals some of the time, when he's not busy doing APC/solo stuff.
