I've recently been banned from driving here in the UK  and understand that a licence from Eire would enable me to ride again..

This however presents a different problem in that I need a permanent/mailing address in Eire.

This is where I hope someone here will be able to help, I am willing to pay for a re-mailing service (obviously) and can only trust someone will be prepared to help out. :ninja:

    Thanks
    Alec.

Alec, no offense meant here, but you've been banned from driving. There probably was good reason for this. Why not learn the lesson meant to be learned?

It's true I could abide by the courts decision, wait the 12 months out, put my life on hold effectively.
But for a moments lapse, one which was punished harshly (and yes thats purely subjective!)
But knowing the full and complete facts, and here even the arresting officer agrees, it IS a harsh penalty.
All I'm doing is trying to continue my life, I'm not ducking the legal process, the ban was not the only punishment and ANY minor infringement will see my licence gone again.
I'll ask you to leave your car/bike whatever in the garage for a week, rely totally on public transport and lifts, then, ask me again why I want my licence back!
"Walk a few yards in my shoes" (Not the full mile) :)

erm, a lot of people here DO rely on public transport and lifts, deal with it and get yourself a bicycle:D
