New Long term parking facility at Dublin Airport

I noticed there are some signs around Dublin Airport pointing to another (non-AerRianta) long term parking terminal.

Has anybody parked there yet? Are they any good?

Appreciate any info you might have on them.

I had the good fortune to meet the CEO (John O'Sullivan) and a finer example of a businessman with quality and customer satisfaction at the top of his agenda you won't meet.

We're off to France next week and I was able to pre-pay online for my parking. There's a free 5minute transfer to the terminal at the airport (it takes me that just to walk across the short term car park! )
A fiver a day ! Can't be beaten. Although I'm only minutes from the airport it would cost me the guts of €30 to get there. That's a 60 quid bill !
I'm gonna drive and to hell with our public transport "system".

Used it last week and it is a great service. Lost the ticket too and they sorted it out in a minute. A class service.

Thanks for the information, 5 euro a day is 2.50 cheaper then AerRianta long term park!!

Busses every 5min sounds good, if the Parking is smaller that is another bonus, as the AerRianta parking is so big that if you are at Q,Y or Z or whatever, on returning, you spend 15min driving around the place waiting for everybody on the shuttle bus to be dropped off at the intermediate stops. Very frustrating after a long haul.

I'll definitely try them on my upcoming trip :) I'll let you know how it goes.

Thats deadly! Quick question - was always a bit worried about leaving the car in the airport for two weeks - do you leave your keys with them in the car park? Was a bit worried about the alarm going off and arriving home from holidays to find a flat battery =)

That's sounds much better than the Aer Rianta one. We parked there before Christmas for just an hour over 4 days. So they charged us for 5. And at 7.50 an hour, that added up. We were disgusted.

I laughed when I heard on the radio about O'Sullivan opening up a new cheaper park soon after selling the old one to Aer Rianta. God, you've got to love that man.

I took the keys with me, don't think they would hold onto them

    couldn't have been better :
on friday (12th) I pre-paid my parking online.
arrived monday morning with no hassle and parked
bus immediately dropped us at the terminal

came back friday (19th) bus dropped us at the exact lane we parked at - very courteous driver; I showed my payment printout to the supervisor on my way out and we left.

not only did I save money but the location saved us half-an-hour both ways.

on my future business trips and this years holidays I'm definitely using it.

Yes i used it. Its cheaper and i find the bus more regular than Aer Rianta! Plus you can pay at the car park itself, you dont need to do it at the airportwhere you might forget then have to go back and pay :D

Or even better... you could book online, all you have to do is print off your receipt and show it to the attendant and he's there in the same spot 24 hours.

Bus really is more regular than the other long term car park and its much cheaper too!
