[Request] Guitar strings...?

    Hi there,

Went to buy a new set of strings for my battered old (acoustic) guitar, like I do once a year or so, whether it needs them or not... :) — but walked out of the shop. The same ol' cheapies that used to be £6.95, and then went to €11 last year (nice round figure...) are now €17.95.

Any tips for online sources? Even overseas (packet of guitar strings should cost very little to p&p...)

    peckerhead

Ebay seems to have very good deals (euro to dollar exchange rate helps), especially if you buy a few packs and save on shipping. Probably applies more to people who have to change the strings on a couple of guitars every couple of months though

Goodwins on capel street are very resonable for strings.

    D'Darrio - €8
    Extra/Super Slinkys - €7.50

The martin strings are cheap enough too, cant remember the price tho.
