    Hey,

Anybody know of a decent backup program with the following features:

    - incremental/differential backup (Only backs up what's changed since last backup)
    - ability to cope with LARGE backups (about 80 GB)
    - ability to backup network drive material onto a local 'caddy' hard drive

I've tried the Win 2000 backup but it failed and I think it's a bit 'Mickey Mouse' anyway.. I've tried google and there's loads of them but I'd say most of them are $hite and I don't have time to experiment.. so I was just wondering if any of ya'll could reccommend?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Thanks mate but looks hella complicated for a non-unix pleb like myself :dunno:!! I appreciate the effort tho :)

Anybody aware of any simple Windows programs for the same? I've just downloaded a few things but I don't like running unfamiliar exe's on my computer..

Veritas is god in this area.

You can get Veritas Backup Exec for free, it's worth checking out before you shell out the big bucks :)

i have to second the recommendation for retrospect. I use it to backup drives to an external firewire drive and it's easy to use and fast.
