Going to Alicante for a few days in May mainly just to chill out. Anybody been there? Can you recommend somewhere to stay that's nice and cheap? places to see? things to do? etc... Thanks in advance Bob

Hmm, sorry, I've never been to Alicante :dunno: , but you can check this site:

For general information on Spanish culture, I can be more helpful I might as well warn you, don't be shocked if you think you have forgotten your Spanish when you get there, it will probably be Valencian By the way, I was asked this question once, "Alacant" is actually "Alicante" in Valencian.....
