    hi all ,
    recent applied computing graduate . finding it very difficult to get any kind of software job .. anyone know off places to look out for ? whats the prgramming market like ? will it imrpove ? its a bit disheartening 4 years of college to not be able 2 get a job out of it , especially when you go back 5 years back there was a major demand for them < arrrrh sep11> !!!

    sep11 is hardly the cause of the problem, it just speeded it up.

    - where have you been looking for work? what's your CV like? have you done any sort of extra self-motivated work on the side that employers could look at besides your grades?

    - what skills do you have?

    - the market is recovering (somewhat)

    - it may continue to improve a bit (but not to the point it was fiver years ago, imho)
