    Heineken Green Energy is returning, only difference really is that it is being moved from the May Bank Holiday weekend to the June Bank Holiday weekend (Friday 4th to Monday 7th), although the line-up already justifies the move!
    Confirmed acts below, additional acts and support to be announced;

    DUBLIN CASTLE
    04: Josh Ritter
    05: Morrissey
    06: Iggy and the Stooges
    07: The Streets

    AMBASSADOR THEATRE
    04: HIM
    06: The Distillers

    THE VILLAGE
    04: Amy Winehouse
    05: I Am Kloot

    Indeed. SHould be a class gig :) Oxygen looks really weak. The Carling weekend coming to Ireland hasn't been mentioned in a long while so it might not even happen now :( That and the fact that MCD bought a cut in Mean fiddler.

    Ah come off it, only 6 or 7 bands have been announced for Oxegen yet (out of something like 60) will be good weekend, to say this will be better is an exaggeration in the extreme, anyway these are all individually priced and seperate gigs (unless you can buy a weekend ticket??)

    Hmm... don't think the few will be too pleased with Iggy clashing with The Distillers.

    So stoked about Iggy though :cool:.

    Is Dublin Castle an outdoor venue??? crap if it is, these artists would be much better indoors

    It's not just Iggy, it's the stooges you fools! Ron and James Asheton... the world's nastiest rock machine.

    The distillers are just some groupie bint and a couple of tattoed LA types. Rubbish.
